Uroclips is for a specific problem, not every urine bag or every caregiving setup. These answers explain what it is designed to do, when it may be relevant, and when not to use it.
What is Uroclips?
Uroclips is a pair of external reinforcement clips designed for the two hanging holes of one selected compatible urine bag. One clip fits over each hanging hole.
Why would someone use Uroclips?
Uroclips is for caregivers or urine-bag users who have experienced early tearing around the hanging holes of a selected compatible urine bag. It adds an external layer around the area that is repeatedly lifted, hung and handled.
Is Uroclips for every urine bag?
No. Uroclips is not a universal urine-bag accessory. Check the exact bag model, hanging-hole shape and fitting guide before use. Do not force a clip onto a bag if the fit is unclear.
How many clips are included in one pair?
One Uroclips Pair includes two clips, with one clip fitted over each hanging hole of a selected compatible urine bag.
Does Uroclips repair a torn urine bag?
No. Do not use Uroclips to repair a torn, stretched, leaking or damaged urine bag. Replace damaged bags promptly and follow the bag manufacturer’s instructions and healthcare guidance.
Does Uroclips replace a urine-bag hanger or stand?
No. Uroclips is not a bedside hanger, holder or stand. It is an external accessory that fits around the hanging-hole area of selected compatible urine bags.
Can Uroclips change how often a urine bag is replaced?
No. Continue to follow the bag manufacturer’s instructions and the guidance of the healthcare professional supporting the user. Uroclips does not change the recommended replacement schedule.
Does Uroclips prevent infection, leaks or every tear?
No such claim is made. Uroclips is an external accessory for a specific hanging-hole issue. It does not replace safe handling, hygiene practices, bag inspection or clinical guidance.
Can Uroclips be reused?
Uroclips may be reused across multiple bag changes while it remains clean, undamaged and correctly shaped. Inspect each clip before use. Stop using it if it is cracked, distorted or damaged.
Which urine bags have been demonstrated with Uroclips?
The fitting guide demonstrates Uroclips on a CosmoMed urine bag model used during product development. This does not mean all CosmoMed bags, or all urine bags, are compatible. Check the exact bag before use.
Where do you deliver?
Uroclips currently delivers within Singapore. Singapore delivery is S$2 per order. For other countries, contact Uroclips before ordering so product compatibility, shipping and local requirements can be considered.
Can I ask about a specific urine bag before ordering?
Yes. Contact Uroclips with the bag brand, exact model if known, capacity and a clear photo of the upper hanging-hole area. Do not send patient names, medical records or images containing bodily fluids.
